Domaine des Appalaches Inc. is located in the heart of the first International Dark Sky Reserve in the world.
In the heart of Notre-Dame-des-Bois, Mont-Mégantic National Park’s ASTROLab is the largest observatory on the east coast of North America, only a few kilometers away from our Estate.
Golfing
The Club de Golf Lac Mégantic is one of the most coveted destinations in Quebec, appreciated by golfers for its 18-hole golf course and 50 renowned courses.
Fishing
The private lakes surrounding the Domaine des Appalaches inc. are filled with brook trout, where land owners and guests can enjoy fishing. The renowned Mégantic Lake is teeming with a variety of trout such as speckled, rainbow, and lake trout, to name just a few. You can also discover bass fishing at the Lac aux Araignées, which is just a stone’s throw away.
Skiing and snowshoeing
Downhill skiing enthusiasts: Sugar Loaf tourist resort is only a one-hour’ drive, and the Bromont resort is only a 90-minutes drive. For snowshoeing, hiking, and ski lovers, the Mont-Mégantic National Park featuring its 75 trails are only a couple of minutes’ drive.
